Beginning Hebei Style Xingyi Quan:
Hebei Style Xingyi Quan is one of the best Chinese Internal Martial Arts and it has a full curriculum with inner practices, strength and power work, single movements, standing postures, core movements and routines as well as weapons methods.
Everyone who begins martial arts must start at the start and Beginning Hebei Style Xingyi Quan is an introduction to the basic exercises of the style including:
- Neigong stretching and opening exercises,
- Martial Standing Post,
- Static posture “Fa Jin” striking exercises,
- correct internal and external body and mind adjustments for beginner students based on the eight key points of Xingyi (a famous oral teaching and document popular in the style),
The course will include videos teaching each of the methods as well as a longer video to follow along as a routine which takes around twenty minutes to perform.
As a special bonus feature of the course I will also include the text “Dantian Filling Method” by the famous Xingyi master Xue Dian, it is one of the only genuine Xiu Dao documents in the Hebei style genre and uses practical skills from Daoism to help students sense Qi in the lower Dantian, head and spine.
The Course costs $30 and will contains around 1.5 hours of video of video,
it is the equivalent of taking a class with me in person, but you get to keep the media for as long as you like.
